Jiang received her Ph.D. in French Literature of Comparative Literature and World Literature from the Department of Chinese Language & Literature at Fudan University. She is a master supervisor and a visiting scholar in the Department of Sinology at the Catholic University of Louvain in Belgium. She focuses on comparative literature, overseas sinology, and foreign translations of Chinese classics, and offers courses such as English-Chinese Translation, Comparative Literature and Sino-French Literature Relations, Intensive Reading of Foreign Translations of Chinese Literature and Culture Classics, etc. Her publications include monographs Cheng Baoyi's Translation and Study of Tang Poetry (2008) and Translation and Study of Tang Poetry in France (2016), and multiple translations.
